The earliest known record of Kombucha consumption dates back to China 200 B.C. where it was called “Tea of Immortality.” It was present throughout the ages, and remained a popular homemade drink not only in Asia, but also in some parts of Europe. Sadly, due to the mass production of modern fizzy drinks, kombucha has been largely forgotten. Here at Formosan, we believe artisan products are timeless – just like our Authentic Bubble Tea.
